During the year 2004-2005, average daily kilometrage travelled by a passenger carriage and other coaching vehicles on the Metre Gauge was 250 and 60 respectively. The unserviceable passenger carriages constituted 18.6 percent of the total number of passenger carriages on line and the unserviceable other coaching vehicles 2.52 percent of the total number of othercoaching vehicles on line.
